Instructions for Authors

      The journal is dedicated to report novel and significant research results in the field of Food Technologies and Processing, Food control, Natural Food Extracts and Additives, Food science, Safety Food, Food Chemisty, Applied Food Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering in Food Technologies and Processing. Full-length research papers describing original research work not previously published are accepted, as well as review articles in the topics within the scope of the Journal.

Online Submission

      
Authors should submit their manuscripts online. The authors will be guided through the electronic submission system of the journal to upload the manuscript. Please follow the link “Submit online” on the right and upload all of your manuscript files following the instructions given on the screen. Any correspondence will take place by Email.

BulletLanguages

All papers will be written in English. The journal publishes original paper and review articles in the mentioned fields.

Only four review articles will be published for every issue.

BulletText Formatting

The paper will be written in Microsoft Word “doc” format.

The page size will be A4 (21×29.7 cm), with the following margins: Top 2.5 cm, Bottom 2.5 cm, Left 3 cm, Right 3 cm, Header and Footer 1.27 cm.

The text will be written with TNR 11 pt.

Use the automatic page numbering function to number the pages.

Do not use field functions.

Use tab stops or other commands for indents, not the space bar.

Save your file in doc format. Do not submit docx files.

BulletArticle structure

      
The paper format: the research paper and will have the following parts: Introduction, Materials and Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledge­ments (optionally), Referen­ces. Excepting References and Acknowledgements should be numbered as 1., 2., etc. Each section could be subdivided, if considered, as 1.1. (then 1.1.1., 1.1.2., etc.), 1.2, etc. Tables and Figures part. Table captions should be written above every table, and figure captions below every figure.

BulletTitle

      Title of the Paper - must be concise and informative, avoiding abbreviations and formulae. (Times New Roman 16 pt, Bold, Center).

BulletAuthor names

      Full name of each author should be provided. Use diacritical marks to write the author’s names.

Exemple:

First_name M. Last_namea*, First_name M. Last_nameb (Times New Roman 11 pt, Bold, Center).

BulletAffiliations

      Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript letter immediately after the author's name and in front of the appropriate address.

Exemple:

a Affiliation: Institution, Address – postal code-city, street, number, country, email address

b Affiliation: Institution, Address – postal code-city, street, number, country, email address

BulletAbstract

      
The paper abstract will be written with Times New Roman 10 pt., justify and is a narrative presentation without references, which should state briefly the purpose of the research, the main results and conclusions. It will contains maximum 150 words; should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references.

BulletKeywords:

      
No more than seven key words will be specified, with a font of TNR 10

BulletAbbreviations

       Uncommon abbreviations must be defined at their first mention and used consistently thereafter.

BulletIntroduction

      The Introduction part should summarize the aim and objectives of the work, providing an adequate scientific background in relation with earlier reports in the field, but avoiding a detailed literature survey.

BulletMaterials and Method

      
Sources of specific materials (including reagents, software, and instrumentation) should be stated. When citing specific brand names of products or technologies, include in parentheses the manufacturer’s name and country. The Experimental part has to provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced. Only new procedures should be described in detail, methods already published must be indicated by a reference.

BulletResults and Discussion

      
Indicate the main original results of the research and discussing them. References will be indicated in text in squared brackets, by consecutive numbers [1,3-6]. The full reference should be given in a list at the end of the paper in order of appearance, indicating the full journal names (see examples below); do not use auto-numbering or bullets.

BulletConclusion

      
On the basis of the original researches, pointing the main conclusion of the work.

BulletAcknowledgements

      
Acknowledgments of people, grants, funds, etc. should be placed in a separate section before the reference list. The names of funding organizations should be written in full. If it’s necessary, write the acknowledgements with TNR 10 pt.

BulletFigures

      
Figures will be numbered consecutively and indicated in the text as “Figure 1, 2 etc”. The minimum resolution will be 300 dpi, black and white, as well-known format (tif, jpg, gif, bmp etc.). Figure and figure caption will be centered and written with TNR 10.
